How Can I Help: Donate
The people whom Creative Living Options supports receive funding from the State of California through the Department of Developmental Services and Alta California Regional Center. This funding is designated for services, not living expenses.
Most of the people whom CLO supports subsist on SSI and SSA; they have extremely low incomes. They are restricted from holding more than $2,000 in savings. Many necessary aspects of good dental and vision care are not covered by Medi-Cal. The considerable costs of setting up new households can be out of consumers’ grasp, let alone some of the educational, entertainment and travel opportunities most of us consider basic to a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
Your gift to the people whom CLO supports will help create lives to which every person, regardless of income or disability, is entitled. Please feel free to designate your contribution toward a specific person or category. If you have gently used furniture, appliances, computers or electronics you wish to donate, please call 916.372.2102 or send us an email. Your donation to Creative Living Options could help provide some of the following:
• First and last month’s rent
